Alfred\u2019s kitchen is named after its Founder Alfred Cook, an English migrant, who began selling hamburgers and soup from a small caravan on a site near the majestic sugar gums of Stirling Square almost three quarters of a century ago.<\/p>\n
The current owners, the Lawrence family purchased Alfred\u2019s in 1986 and have grown the business over the years to what you see today. With both 30years of ownership and 70years of operation we celebrate this year with the opening of our first dining area in a historic 1906 train carriage.<\/p>\n
